Alcatraz

Our next stop was Alcatraz. We took the ferry out to the island and took the audio tour which was really interesting. It's such a somber place. I couldn't help but feel so sad for those who spent time here...it wasn't an issue of whether they deserved to be there or not but just the thought of what kind of a life it would be in this place. It makes me wonder if locking up criminals in a cold and uninviting environment is really a way to rehabilatate them? Just a thought.

Oh, and I have a picture of a ghost here. No, not really. Hmm...but, really? I swear there was nobody around me. What is it??

I'm so glad we went to Alcatraz...it was sad. AND that was a ghost picture.

Glad to see you guys had a fun trip! It's always nice to get away for awhile. I especially love the pictures on the stairs. You all look so....um...deep in thought? Yeah- that's the phrase. Cute pictures. You always take good pictures though. How do you get Brandon to pose for pictures. Well...let me rephrase that. How do you get Brandon to smile and look normal in a picture? James will gladly pose but is usually making a hideous looking face!

Glad you got back safely!

I've heard of that ghost at alcatraz that mysteriously jumps into tourist's cameras...seriously. Yikes.
Looks fun.

Have I told you that I love Alcatraz? Not like I am in love with it, but more of an obsessed weird thing? Yeah. Pretty much.
You got some great pics. What talent you possess. And ghosts? Totally there. I've read about it, too. Do you truly believe? Hmmmm?
