Photo: Oregon 2008As I looked at these two photos, I thought to myself, "Wow, so much time has passed and so much has changed between these two pictures." But then when I really think about it...not much has changed. Over ten years, we all got older, we got married, we had children, we graduated, we started new careers, we moved away from each other, but when I look at these two pictures taken a decade apart, I see that so much is the same. We laugh, we cry, we hope, we learn, we love, we enjoy, we live.
I just wish Michael was in this pic! I'm reminded of the song "We Never Change" by Coldplay. I'll add it to my playlist actually...great song!

Danielle! You are all standing in the same order, in the same pose...and look at your legs...the same! The only difference is you're on beaches in opposite hemispheres and "time" has gone by. But what if at the moment those photos were shot years apart, you were actually occupying the exact same spot in outer space as the earth whirled around the sun?

I was going to say what the "B-man" said, (minus a few words...hee-hee) about the only difference between then and now is how much tanner your legs looked 10 years ago! (don't worry...I'm sure it's just the lighting!)
What a fun picture though! I love looking at old pictures. Brings back all kind of memories! Pretty cute!
